Château La Fréneraie refers to the origins of Freixenet. It all started in the 19th century on the sunny family lands of La Freixeneda in Catalonia: the French equivalent of “Ash grove”. A place, lined with ash and oak trees, conducive to the production of "warm" wines, where tasting is mixed with conviviality.
Today, the vineyard of Château La Fréneraie, pampered by Yvon Mau since the 80s, gives birth to a cuvée of heritage of our Spanish roots.
