The Fettercairn Distillery is a Scottish whiskey distillery located at the foot of the mountain, which is reflected in the name, which translates to 'fettercairn' in Gaelic. It was founded there in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay. A single malt whiskey from the Scottish Highlands. Available exclusively in the duty-free shop. After 12 years of aging in American white oak casks previously used for bourbon, this Scottish single malt whiskey receives a new flavor profile after a further 18 to 24 months in Pedro XimƩnez sherry casks. The result is a premium Scottish whiskey with notes of tropical fruit and subtle spices thanks to the unique distillate refinement process. Notes of orange peel and dried fruit fill the air. Aromas of vanilla and other tropical fruits are added.
