Produced by the state-owned Kweichow Moutai Company, the beverage is distilled from fermented sorghum and now comes in several different varieties.[1] Special limited edition bottle made of the finest Chinese porcelain.This edition honors Li Bai (701-762) regarded as one of the greatest and most prolific poets of the Tang dynasty. Nose : Immediate bouquet of cereal flakes, roasted chestnuts with nutmeg emerges, leaving a salty finish and aromas of toasted rice. The alcohol is never aggressive on the nose. Taste : Very delicate, it is a mixture of corn flakes and soy sauce with savory vegetables.
