It is a visual celebration of colour, the natural colour of the whiskies, as each and every whisky is produced by The Macallan is 100% natural colour, which comes from the new make spirit’s interaction with exceptional sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain.
The Colour Collection 12 Years Old presents whisky which has been matured in American oak casks, harmoniously complemented with a subtle inclusion from European oak. The packaging’s colours have been carefully chosen to complement the golden oak tone of the whisky within. This is an echo of the strikingly pale terroir of Jerez de la Frontera.
