In the run-up to this anniversary, the brand launched its Discovery range in 2021, which unveils a key stage in the creation of its single malts, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, each year. The 2022 edition puts yeast in the spotlight. This third essential ingredient in the making of single malt, along with malt and water, is rarely mentioned by distilleries. This limited edition of Miyagikyo is distinguished by yeasts that promote the development of scents and flavors reminiscent of peach and apricot. An invitation to dive, literally, inside a tank in full fermentation!
