This single malt has been distilled since 1897 on the banks of the River Lossie near Elgin, one of Scotland's oldest towns. It has been aged for an average of seven years in casks made entirely of ex-bourbon, the majority of which are first fill. Glen Moray Classic Malt is light and smooth, with malt, butterscotch and lemongrass. It has great smoothness and roundness, combined with an unchanging quality. Graham Coull, Glen Moray Master Distiller, says this whisky perfectly embodies the spirit of Speyside.
