Citadelle Gin has delicate aromas of fresh flowers reinforced with more prominent citrus notes. Once served, it exudes the more intense and herbaceous notes of juniper and aniseed. The spicy side of cinnamon then follows, which soothes the nose, and adds a very gourmet aspect to the gin. On the palate, juniper gives way to a delightful, long and spicy fragrance. However, while Citadelle offers full aromatic richness, its three character traits remain: - Juniper, its signature, the key ingredient of Citadelle - Citrus, an additional note of citrus which highlights the juniper - Exoticism, adding an extra layer with hints of pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon. Citadelle has won more than 60 Medals including Spirit of the Year at the 2017 World Spirits Awards, as well as World's Best Gin and Gin Grand Master in London. The bottle has also made its mark and was awarded a gold medal at the Spirits Design Master 2017.
